The
Partner ACS was developed to meet the small business needs for more powerful systems that
are easy to use and upgrade. In the past, the small business had to get a large system
just to get the additional features that were provided with those larger systems. Not
anymore. The power and flexibility of the Partner ACS are enhanced by the ease with which
customers can upgrade the system software as more features become available using optional
state-of-the-art PCMCIA PC cards that slide into the main processor.
The Partner ACS Digital System comes equipped
with two PCMCIA PC card slots that make it a snap for the customers to install future
system software upgrades by simply slipping a new credit-card sized PC card into one of
its 2 slots. Imagine, you will be able to upgrade the system features and software
yourself, while maintaining a system that is always ahead of it's time. You will always
have the newest technology available by simply upgrading the PCMCIA card. As your
competitors systems become obsolete, you will be always on the cutting edge.
The Partner ACS comes standard with a PC card that
provides the only automatic back-up and restore capabilities for system programming
available in the small system market. Others will have to follow. The PC card technology
will allow customers to retain their original Partner ACS control module (processor) and
install future software upgrades as a do-it-yourself job.
The Partner ACS is a member of Lucent's popular
Partner family of small business communication systems. The Partner ACS system control
module incorporates connections for 3 lines and 8 stations, and can be combined with other
Partner modules for increased capacity. Full expansion on the system is 15 lines and 20
extensions, or 11 lines and 32 extensions. Expansion modules are available to add
increments of two CO lines, four CO lines, or two CO lines and 6 phones. The Partner ACS
system also supports telephone network caller ID capabilities as well as many other
features like optional support for a contact closure device which can be used to open
electronic door locks remotely and perform on off functions.
The Partner ACS is fully compatible with the latest
Lucent Partner Mail VS Messaging System. The latest Partner Mail VS System now includes
outcall alert capability and message forwarding, as well as more mailboxes and longer
storage time. outcalling allows users to pre-define an outside number the system can call
automatically to alert the user that a message is waiting. Message forwarding permits
users to share important information by sending a message from one mailbox to another.
The Partner ACS System, like the other Partner
systems, is modular - so installation couldn't be easier. It uses industry standard RJ11
jacks, as well as industry standard telephone twisted pair cable. The Partner ACS main
processor already equipped for 3 lines and 8 extensions can be inserted into a 2 or 5 slot
carrier. The 5 slot carrier gives you the most expandability when it comes time for adding
additional cards or voice mail. |
